1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ghostwalk ("the Service"), operated by Ladder Research ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ghostwalk is an AI-driven synthetic usability testing platform. You submit a URL, select test personas, and our system runs automated browser sessions to evaluate usability. A synthesis report is generated from the session results.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit URLs to sites you do not own or have permission to test.
  • Use the Service to attack, disrupt, or probe third-party systems.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the Service.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation through your use of the Service.

5. Credits & Billing

The Service offers a free tier (one test run) and paid credits. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the URLs and content you submit. We retain ownership of the Service, its technology, and generated reports. You may use generated reports for your internal business purposes.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that synthetic test results will perfectly reflect real user behavior.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ladder Research shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
